FAQ'S
How does transformation work?

Transformation is a subtle or sudden shift in identification from the content of your experience to the space, or context, out of which your experience occurs. You are not a thing, story, or even process. You are that which contains all these, pure subject. Your “ego” is how you have it all. Just give up your lifetime investment in being a mere pawn on the board of life. Who you truly are is the Source of it all. To use spiritual language, you are a son or daughter of the Living God. This realization can be considered salvation, enlightenment, awakening, being born again or self-realization.

Why is the new paradigm in science so important?

Since the quantum revolution 100 years ago, it has become increasingly clear that the Universe is as much in us, as we are in it. We participate in everything we experience, much like a dance. We go beyond being the observer to being that which is observed, and then to the very process of observation. The old billiard-ball theory has been outmoded for generations. The general culture is finally catching up. The implication is that we can no longer credibly play passive victims.

How can our thoughts directly impact people on the other side of the planet?

The principle of nonlocality in physics postulates then when any two particles are paired, they maintain their exact spin in relation to each other no matter how far apart, even to the other side of the Universe. This has been experimentally proven, shattering the speed of light as being the absolute limit. This suggests that we share our being with everyone and everything. It recalls Indra’s net, wherein every pearl reflects every other pearl in an infinite chain. The speed of our thoughts far outpaces light. We can “touch” someone around the earth in the blink of an eye.

Do I have to believe in God for this mission and vision to work for me?

No. The word “God” is a useful and necessary placeholder for our Supreme Identity and Transcendent Mystery, our Creator or Source. God is most certainly beyond personality, although He / She / It can include the personal. The irony is that we can best know God with our heart through Infinite, Universal, Absolute LOVE. The process works through invoking one’s deepest self, That which most deeply resonates with the sacred. Whom and What we call God is our only True and Ultimate Self.

What has been missing from the Gospel that Christians couldn’t pull the world together?

That our Creator is absolute, unqualified LOVE would be good news anywhere. Gandhi maintained that if only 10% of those who ever claimed to be a Christian truly practiced their faith, the whole world would now be one. The problem started with early Christians rationalizing that Christ died for only some, but not for all (a true heresy). The other was the posture that only Christ is God, even though He referred to His disciples as sons or daughters of the Living God. When we deeply realize that we are ALL meant to be Christ, or Buddha, or Krishna, we will begin to see everyone as magnificent and divine. We will then be well on our way to heaven on earth.

If God is love, why do cats and dogs get flattened along the highway?

The problem of pain, or suffering, is a problem that no one faith has answered to anyone’s total satisfaction. It is encouraging to realize that God may suffer through each one of us, including plants and animals. Mutual pain and suffering have a way of bringing us all together. The narrative of the crucifixion of Christ can be considered the “Greatest Story Ever Told.” While pain and suffering by themselves are not inspiring, redemptive love most certainly is. History is best appreciated as a Divine, or Universal, Love Story. Our True Self is the hero in awakening us all up to Eternal Life.

How can we deal with all the crazy people who relish war?

Aggression, violence and war emerge out of fear and hatred. Violence is looked upon as a form of weakness in the martial arts. To kill someone is only a last resort. Likewise, diplomacy is set up to do whatever is possible to prevent war. The way out is to show love and compassion to everyone caught up in wargames. We are all susceptible. In a real war, there are no winners. We can then point to the arms merchants, who keep supplying the nations with weapons. Many rationalize that there is no other way. The breakthrough is the realization that Universal Love is impossible to long resist. It is utterly demoralizing to push away pure love.

How can Universal Love be more powerful than nuclear weapons?

Whenever we have a lofty ambition to change the world, we bounce against the possibility that someone might push the button and end it all. Here is where faith and love come in. No one in their right mind wants to destroy everything. When you begin to truly LOVE your enemy, you unleash a creative force that can nullify the most diabolic intent. Nuclear weapons can only destroy, they cannot create. When you love anyone, if even for a moment, you are sharing a creative force that can make all things new. If you keep on doing this, you will witness a cumulative effect that is truly stunning. As a Course in Miracles puts it, “The holiest place on earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present love.”

How can we spread Universal Love when fear, hatred and war are inevitable?

While any of us may experience fear and hatred from time to time, war, itself, is not inevitable. To date, we have yet to engage in a sustained nuclear war. Belief in inevitability is the problem. As the Hunger Project maintains, death by starvation is not inevitable. Despite a rapidly growing population, we still have sufficient food for everyone. What is essential to realize is that we can’t end war by simply waging peace. We can end war only by waging love. As more and more people realize the ultimate power of Universal Love, it will become more and more compelling an option. The need of the hour is to know how to access Universal Love, and how to channel it towards us all.

How can one ordinary person change the world?

If you study the life of Gandhi in great detail, you will find he was a most unremarkable child. No one would even guess he could have a successful career, let alone transform the British Empire into the British Commonwealth. Yet, as Gandhi’s career continued in South Africa, and then India, no one and nothing could defeat him. At a critical juncture in his life, Gandhi stumbled upon the power of unconditional love, and the world has never been the same. So for you and me. Never forget that Gandhi LOVED the British out of India.
